ASIAN FEDERATION OF ADVERTISING
ASSOCIATIONS (AFAA)

The idea of forming an Asian Advertising Community Forum was born in 1958 in anticipation of rapid economic growth in Asia. The first Asian Advertising Congress was hel in Tokyo, Japan in that year, and thereafter, once in every two years in different Asian Cities.

With the growth of Asian economies, the role of AFAA has been recognized by a growing number of Asian countries. Today, AFAA has representatives from 15 countries: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taipei, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
